First year of this debate competition was in 2006. The founder and the main organizer is Mr Anton Kuzmin. Other organizing and participating organization is Gymnázium Olomouc-Hejčín , which is provider of place for this debating tournament. Sponzors are office of marshal of Olomouc county, Zastupitelstvo mládeže Olomouckého kraje (ZMOK) and Rada rodičů při Gymnáziu v Olomouci-Hejčíně.
This debating tournament is for all students of primary schools, secondary schools and high schools. Tournament has two separated parts the Czech part and the English one. Debate formate for Czech part is Karl Popper and for the English one World Style. This tournament partook in development of debating in Czech Republic and is one of the biggest tournaments in Czech Republic which are not organized by Asociace debatních klubů České republiky. OOC is counted to Debating Cup of The Czech Republic.
